As a General Manager you’ll be responsible for ensuring service and financial objectives of the hotel are achieved and improved upon for the benefit of the guests and employees through planning, direction and supervision. Liaising with our operational management and your Heads of Department you’ll ensure all departments run in accordance with hotel policy and that a personalised service is provided at all times. With a number of direct reports you’ll oversee the training and ongoing development of all hotel employees to achieve the highest degree of competence to undertake their duties. Through a passionate approach to hospitality you’ll champion the companies’ vision and values, promoting a professional and positive image at all times. Key performance areas will include; customer service, statutory management, finance management, strategic management, operations management, HR and personal effectiveness. To be considered for this position it is essential that you are financially astute and have a strong food and beverage background. You’ll have previous man management experience, having managed large teams. Methodical and incredibly organised, you’ll demonstrate good reporting, time management, people and problem solving skills.
