The Divemaster/Pro Dive Scuba Master Traineeship takes you from absolute beginner up to PADI Divemaster, the basic qualification for professional work in the recreational dive industry. 

If you want to earn money doing what you like best, this is the place to start. As a Divemaster you will be a fully trained scuba diver, with the skills and knowledge needed to lead certified divers in open water and to assist an instructor, in the pool and in open water sessions.

If you are planning a career as a PADI professional, this is the first step on the ladder.

You will achieve 40 dives on normal training days, Monday to Friday. You need to log 60 to qualify as a Divemaster so if you start as a beginner you must expect to dive at weekends too - at no extra charge.

You start with your PADI Open Water Diver course, quickly moving on to Advanced, Rescue Diver and Emergency First Response. 

If you are already qualified as an entry-level diver when you start, we give you the choice of logging some extra boat dives in your first week or recapping the Open Water course. 

Next, you start your Divemaster training and assessment - improving your dive knowledge, increasing your experience and fine tuning your skills for the first professional level. 

With PADI Divemaster training in the bag you turn your attention to air filling, gas blending and the use of Nitrox, plus practical training in Retail Dive Centre Management (RDCM). 

The RDCM syllabus gives you the experience needed for work in any dive school environment. It includes:

- Dive cylinder filling and maintenance
- High pressure compressor operations
- Point of sale administration
- 24/7 electronic booking system
- Stock control and management

You train at Manly's Pro Dive Academy, staying at Queenscliff near one of Sydney's most spectacular beaches.
